Share docs with specific members

I have looked extensively for solutions to this with nothing that really works:

I want to share documents with my members, but only certain docs with certain members. I can’t figure out a way to either 1) Share docs with them in the File Share tool or 2) create customer private member pages where I embed these docs.

Can anyone help? I’ve seen this page which talks about creating private member pages but still appears to show them only their own documents, and again, I need to show them documents, content the SITE ADMIN has created. https://support.wix.com/en/article/creating-custom-member-profile-pages

This seems such an obvious use case. Am I missing something simple?

What you can do with the shared files app is quite limited (maybe youi can find how to do it there, I’ve never tried.
But the 2nd option, meaning custom presentation of these docs is doable.
You should create a database collection with docs and user permissions, and either use a member page to display them if it’s permitted, or create a general page and query the database for the current user permissions.
