Shopping cart icon size keeps resetting!

I have an issue with the shopping cart icon not staying in the dimensions I have set.

I have the shopping cart icon placed in the header. Every time I drag the viewport narrower and then back to desktop width, the cart icon would change dimensions. It would sometimes get larger or smaller, at random. The size is set by % so that it would resize as the viewport changes.

The cart icon would disappear as I drag or switch the viewport, when it loads back up it would not resize to the same % dimensions.

You can try by placing the cart icon in a header, setting its dimension by % and dragging the viewport narrow (or tablet or mobile), and then going back to the desktop viewport.

Is there a way for me to get it to always stay in the right % size?

please investigate the problem of the size of the cart (icon) that changes by itself and all the time!!! Impossible to fix it, even in a container. (fix sizing, auto sizing, flexible, max size, min size … nothing works)

And I have now an other problem with this cart icon : it has a white color in the Editor (on all devices : Desktop, tab & mobile) and become pink (???) when online only on mobile version !!!? Desktop and tab are displayed normally (white color)

I am fed up it s really painful.

I am creating an e-shop, and I’m still waiting to pay to put it online because I don’t really trust (anymore) to have an e-shop with Editor X! Too many bugs in addition to the slowness of the editor among others.

Hi,

I have contact the customer care line and get someone on phone. The person see the problem and check it with the technical support.
He will be back to me when solution is fund or so.

I will inform you too when I received news about it.

Can you share the site you are working on? Some issues were fixed so this could be a different issue you are experiencing.

Hi,

It’s been 7 months, our shopping cart icon is still changing sizes randomly. I had instances of it changing to 2000%!
I have given up on editing the website except for creating new pages where I need to feature new products.

Has this issue had any traction yet? Seems like this thread is old but I am still seeing the issue on my website (studiomiyabi.com) - no matter what settings I change, the cart adjust automatically and at random.

Please fix this issue because many of us use Wix for e-commerce as a alternative to Shopify but it just looks so shoddy and not professional when there are sizing issues like this.

I have the same issue nothing works. WIX is garbage man. I try to try n try again. Just bugs after bugs. I’m taking my store elsewhere. Straight dumpster fire man simple things can’t get done. I regret ever giving Wix studio a try. Waste of time. Will be posting more videos and my reviews all over YouTube and Reddit. Sick and tired of this garbage software.
