Site Load Time SUPER SLOW

Hey, everyone! I have created and launched a site. The url is www.yogalanding.net but it takes several seconds to load on both mobile and desktop. Definitely long enough to lose users pretty quickly.

Anyways the only interactive piece I used was one of the pre-made Wix image sliders. I have some datasets I am working with for workshops as well.

When I go to preview the site in the code editor it says “Loading the code for the home page. To debug this code, open ehtg0.js in developer tools.”

What does it mean?! I am pretty inexperienced and I am not sure how to fix this issue. Thankful to anyone who can help!

I too am having load problems with the Wix Gallery for my images, which are what get clients’ asses in my chair so I can make money. I found out about the problem when I ran (and re-ran) tests on Google. The main problem is the gallery load time on mobile devices and yes, it loads very slow on my Samsung S7 so…I am trying my Instagram feed for now to see if that loads faster. This isn’t a permanent fix, as I don’t think my clients want their photos on my website, but I needed something there for now. I also stopped my Ads. Well, now my Instagram feed isn’t even loading on my phone at all so time for plan C. I hope they fix this issue soon!

Maybe it isn’t your website that is being slow to load and yes I use Wix Pro Galleries on my own website too and my S7 Edge loads any gallery page up within 3 secs on my 4g connection or over my home network.

Perhaps your Ads or your Instagram feed is causing your slowness as it is that which is taking a while to load up and not Wix fault at all.

Note: Content contained in third-party apps and iFrames (such as embedded videos or social channels feeds) are delivered from external servers, rather than the Wix servers. This means Wix cannot optimize them and therefore they may create an overhead on your site’s loading time.

@givemeawhisky Perhaps, but I’m not running any ads on my site and I use Wix’s IG feed app. My site has been loading faster as of late, and I think it had something to do with the type of gallery I was using on my site.
