So i’m helping a small local diving center set up an online booking website for around 20 dive courses. This is my first time designing an eCommerce site, and I’m looking for the most cost-effective plan for a business like this. They need to accept a 100euro deposit for each course online, with the balance paid in cash. They also want to avoid any extra plugin costs, which is why I thought Wix studio might be the best platform for a small beginner business like this. I initially set up the site using Wix Store, but realized Wix Bookings is a better fit for handling deposits.
The issue I’m facing is that the “Book Now” button is inactive. I’m not sure if the ‘Book Now’ button works like the add-to-cart icon, which directs products to the cart, or if I should just remove it.
I also haven’t upgraded my site yet because I wasn’t sure which site plan is the right for this business. Could you recommend the most suitable plan for online booking with deposits, and let me know if the button issue is related to the site not being upgraded?
