I’m having trouble with
I’m setting up online bookings for my diving classes and I’d really appreciate some guidance. I want customers to pay a fixed €100 deposit upfront when they make a booking, while the remaining balance is paid on-site in cash or by card. The full price of each class still needs to be visible on the website, but the customer should only be charged the €100 deposit online.
After the deposit is paid, I would like Wix Automations to calculate the remaining amount and send the customer an email with their booking details (avoid manual calculation)and the amount they will need to pay on-site.
I’m currently using Wix Stores together with Wix Payments, and I will upgrade to Premium soon. Before I finalize the setup, I’d love to know what the recommended approach is for a system where every class requires a fixed €100 deposit, the class price is shown normally, and the remaining balance is communicated automatically by email.
If anyone has experience with this or has a good solution to share, I’d be really grateful.

I finally figured it out! I should be using wix bookings for this kind of business, not wix Stores. I can’t believe I spent weeks setting up wix Stores!
