Hi, I have created a page on an existing website, using Wix templates. When I try to publish, I get an error message saying “Recent changes to your site’s code contain errors. If you publish the site, it might cause parts of your site to not work as expected.” I never touched any code, to my knowledge. I know nothing about code. I reached out to Wix and they say they can’t help because they don’t touch code either. I am a little panicked, as this is a client’s website, and I don’t want to do anything to harm their site. Can anyone help please?
You can restore the website version from the site history before you think the website broke down. Before that, clear your editor cookies and try publishing again.
You can also open each page and dev mode and check for errors in codes(if any). They are red underlined. Hope you find the fix.
Thank you! I tried clearing my cache yet again - already cleared it a couple of times - and it finally published. Not sure what was going on. Thanks for your help!
