I wanted to share a quick update on the issue some of you (and your clients) are experiencing with spam membership signups. Many of you have expressed concern, and we want to be as clear and transparent as possible about where things stand.
Our Members Area team is aware of the recent campaign conducted by spammers trying to exploit the signup feature. The team is actively working on resolving this matter and has implemented several solutions. While these efforts have improved the situation, we continue to search for an ultimate solution for these actions.
Please be assured that this is only automated spam and that your websites and accounts are safe and secure.

I’ve experienced this quite a lot and it has indeed eased more recently. HOWEVER, in the last couple of days, 2 of my sites have received emails from unknown persons with the message of simply “get back to me”. I suspected the first was spam and deleted it. But when a different site received the same type of email, I knew it was spam. Anyone else getting these annoying emails?
