Question:
is there any plans to make the strip divide into 6 sections? I have 6 sub categories I want to put but only can have 5 which puts me at a loss. Help

Sounds like a lot of information compressed in a small area
How about two strips of three columns instead? Not a direct solution to your problem, but depending on your content, it may be friendlier to site visitors

I tend to agree with @DeanAyalon - especially on smaller desktop devices, the information is likely to get cramped (especially since strip columns are a division of 980/total colmuns). Six solumns would result in 163px width, which is quite small.
The alternative is to use Wix Studio, which allows for more complex layouts with the section grid, although has a different learning curve if you’re not familiar with building sites on a responsive infrastructure.
