Hello there,
The design of the new forum is great, but it’s now harder for customers to post code-related questions and topics, and harder for us to spot them and answer them.
I liked the idea that the Velo forum used to have its own forum, but I also understand the importance of having one profile for all the forums, so I’d like to see the forum categorized as before, as it’s now all messed up, when you first visit the forum, you don’t really know what it’s about, so unless the forum is categorized as follows, it’ll just make it harder for us to use, and drive new customers away.
Here is what I think the categories should be:
- Velo - Developers Community
- Collaboration - Find developers and designers to collaborate on your project.
- Partner Program - For Partners to discuss the Marketplace, Partner program and more.
Please don’t turn the forum into a full website, keep the announcements, onboarding guides, and beta features all on separate standalone pages, let the forum be focused on community and discussions, and take away the static content that won’t change.
Overall, the update is welcome and acceptable, and I appreciate the efforts to put it together, and with a few more modifications and updates it’ll be much better, for everyone.
