The problem concerns:
Wix Pro gallery
type: Slide Deck
The descriptions of the photos should be on the info bar, but for some reason they are outside the info bar at the top of the gallery.
I have about 10 galleries of this type on the site, and in all of them the descriptions of the photos have moved from bottom to top and I can’t change that.
I will add that everything was fine all the time and the photo descriptions were in the information bar at the bottom, but today I noticed that all descriptions are at the top of the gallery.
The problem also occurs with all my copies of the page, even on copies from a few months ago.
My question for the Editor X team: where is the problem in this situation?
On the SLIDE DECK you have some other options for text placement.
When you select the gallery media in the editor, go to SETTINGS > Then under LAYOUT you have the ability to create some white space below the image by sizing the INFO BAR.
Then in LAYOUT select the PRESETS tab where you have some more options for placement and layout styles, as the SLIDE DECK goes in multiple directions and has options for text placement.
When making changes to the gallery in the editor, you have to trust your changes OR after making the change to the type of slider, close the window and revisit the page again to see what it actually looks like.
I also have notice that if you had set up the gallery using a different type, some of that efforts cross-over to the change, but again close the window and revisit the page again to see what it actually looks like. This is why you might be seeing the text at the top, because some of the others allow for text placement there, to the sides and bottom.
Yeah, it’s that change to the gallery type requiring one to log out of the editor and then go back in to see that changes which is the bug, but easily circumvented.
