So… the Wix fees vs the Credit Card Processing Fees. What a headache.
We legitimately thought we were passing on the processing fees when we selected this option to pass the fees along to the buyer. Because of course we did.
It wasn’t until I got our first statement that I realized that wasn’t the case. When I went back to that option, I followed the “Learn More” link, it wasn’t until the very bottom in “notes” halfway through the final bullet point that you read “Note that processing fees collected by payment providers are separate from the Wix service fee.” I’m sorry, but this should be on the main page in bold print.
But to the point: I want to pass on the credit card processing fees. Where is the toggle button for that?
Notes:
-I don’t know why Wix would have a 2.5% fee for each ticket sold when you have to upgrade your plan anyways to sell tickets.
