I would like to send a triggered email when certain actions are completed by one user that affects another user. Example: User1 is logged in and sends a message to User2. User2 gets an email/notification that User1 has sent a message to them. I would like to trigger an email to User2 when User1 sends over a message. Any help would be greatly appreciated. As far as I can tell, the wix-crm-backend API only allows emails to the current logged in user or new user. I.E. wixCRM.emailContact(“reply-message”, contactId) requires that contactId, is the Id of the current user and not the User2 Id. Could someone from WIX explain why we can’t send trigger emails to another user?
Since the automations are limited now to only a few to generate. I hope that the triggered emails can stay as is.
