Unpredictable Error in Console (bolt instance)

Hey, sometimes I am getting this Error in the Console. It is just a matter of how often I refresh a page without changing any code. 4 out of 10 times it appears and the page stays blank.

Any clues?

I would suggest you pop a ticket into Wix Support as it looks like it is a glitch somewhere within Wix.

They should be able to pass it onto the relevant department for you if they can’t handle it themselves, in the meanwhile hopefully a Wix Mod can see this post and either raise the issue their end too or be able to sort out your problem straight away after you have sent them your editor url (only they will have the admin privileges to be able to see it).

If it was an issue with your own code somewhere on your page, then it would tell you where the error is.

I also had that happen to me multiple times today. Let me know what they say regarding your trouble ticket.

I will keep you updated I opened a ticket at wix support as @givemeawhisky suggested. The „support“ said they can not see any issue on my site with the console. I suggested to upload a screenrecord on YouTube where they watch it and I have mentioned that another customer (you) faces the same issue. Let’s see if they will take it serious now.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

From what I understand, you’re experiencing an issue where sometimes, up to 1 in 20 times, your mobile site is getting stuck on the loading screen and seeing a console error. I’ve tested the mobile site many times (around 50) on three separate devices (iPhone X, iPhone 6 and Samsung S9) and have not been able to reproduce the issue described. I’ve read the attached thread and understand that one person has said that they are also experiencing the issue, but it sounds like this is something that may only occur under stress testing scenarios.

Some issues only arise when behaving with a site in abnormal ways, such as reloading it over and over again, and wouldn’t really be something that we can forward to our developers to address as a reproducible bug, especially one that, from my end, appears to almost never occur.

Actually I had said the issue occurs about 4 out of 10 times. But I have 4 different Video proofs uploaded to YouTube for you where the issue occurs 2 out of 8 times.

In short your sentence “ … appears to almost never occur.” is even not an excuse.

Further, reloading a page can’t be seriously considered as “stressing”. In future I will have hundreds of customers simultaneously requesting for pages. If Wix can’t handle that,
thats really weak.

Here are the YouTube Links to the Video evidence what I am (and apparently some other yet customers of you) are facing:

In each of the videos I am refreshing the page 8 times. The error sequence is as follows:

Video 1 - Smartphone (ok, error, ok, ok, ok, ok, ok, error) (error = page stays blank)
Video 2 - Smartphone (ok, ok, ok, error, error, ok, ok, ok) (error = page stays blank)
Video 3 - Desktop (ok, ok, error ok, ok, ok, ok, ok, error) (error = page stays blank, see console)
Video 4 - Desktop (error, ok, ok ok, ok, error, ok, ok, ok) (error = page stays blank, see console)

So, since you guys have 4 video evidences and the statement, that this error is a real thing from 2 other users I am asking you to take it serious.
