I was on the phone with an agent but after the call dropped nobody has called me back.
Issue: It looks like existing subscriptions are now retroactively affected by changes made to the actual Pricing Plan, which from my understanding shouldn’t be happening…
Example Scenario:
Jan 5th: I create a Pricing Plan A that allows customer to book up to 6 Class sessions.
Jan 6th: Customer X books 5 Class sessions.
Jan 10th: I edit Pricing Plan A so that it allows future customers buying this pricing plan to book up to 3 Class sessions instead of 6 now. But this then causes the customer X’s already existing Subscription (which was displaying 1/6 remaining sessions) to minus itself by 3 sessions (which shouldn’t be happening at all) and as a result show -2/3 sessions remaining to book.
I have reached out to the Pricing Plan Team and confirmed this is not the expected behavior. We were able to recreate it on our end and would like to get this escalated to the team directly.
Please submit a support ticket and provide me with the ticket number for me to expedite this over to them.
@info17721 I have followed up with the team and confirmed this is behaving as intended. We will be deploying warning animations to remind everyone about this. It is a catch 22 since when increasing the sessions would update the existing plans too so that people won’t have to cancel and repurchase.
I understand your frustrations and have forwarded the feedback to the team.
@randya It did not used to be like this. Are you saying I now have to create a brand new pricing plan if I’m to make changes to the current number of booking sessions that can be redeemed from it? In the past, once a pricing plan had been purchased just the 1 time, it would then become impossible to edit the number of sessions for that Pricing Plan in the pricing plan page (not referring to the individual subscription) but I noticed that’s no longer the case.
When or where was this change made and announced to us? Especially since according to what you’re saying it very much changes how pricing plan edits work now??
