I have a site with business VIP plan but I’m confused that its storage is 50 GB but unlimited video hours allowed. Does it mean I can only upload unlimited videos with “Wix Videos App” ?
Do I need more space to buy to upload more videos directly to video fields in my custom data collections?

Yes, you can upload unlimited videos to the Wix videos app with the business VIP plan. 50GB of storage only counts for files inside your media manager. If you want to upload your videos into your custom database, it will take up your 50GB storage. The only way to get more storage than 50GB on Wix is by buying the Super store plan (you need to add an online store for that). You will get 75GB if you are on super store plan.
An alternative to getting more storage to upload more videos in your collection, you could upload your videos on your other free websites & just copy the wixstatic url for the video & just past the url into your video field in your premium site collection. There is an option to past the video url in the video field (you need to make the database layout into the gallery layout). Then you won’t use any storage.
