Videos in CMS do not play back in repeater

What are you trying to achieve:
I have videos and photos in a CMS dataset, I have added different tags such as photography for the photos and video for the videos in the CMS. On my portfolio page I connected the CMS to a repeater. In the repeater, the videos do not display a play icon. So I have added a play icon to the repeater. Unfortunately it displays the play icon on all photos and videos. I am trying to only have the play icon displayed on the videos and I am stuck as I do not find the option to only display the play icon to the data that has the “video” tag, in addition to that the video do not playback in the repeater. I am trying to have the videos pop up and autoplay as well as the photos when the mouse hovers on them, So two issues: videos are not playing, play icon is displayed on all photos and videos, I need to find a solution to have the videos play back when hovering.

What have you already tried:
I have added a play icon in the repeater and I am stuck.

What is the element in the repeater ? What is the fields in the CMS you are connecting to ? Can you show a screenshot of the connections ?

You have all the items as images. A play button wont do anything. If you want to show images and videos you need to add both an image and video to the repeater. Most likely use some code to hide if the field is empty so only a video or an image will be seen.
