We're not able to accept online payments at the moment

Is anyone having this issue? how do you resolve this?

When customers want to check out with a credit card or pay later it will not allow them to book.

It gives the message
“We’re not able to accept online payments at the moment.”

You either have not connected a payment provider yet …

Or you have not upgraded your Wix premium to one that allows accepting payments online.

We’ve connected and unconnected - nothing works

It worked seamless for a month then “unable to accept online payments” shows even if they pick pay later option

Which is the payment provider you chose? Is it Wix Payments? Have you been approved for Wix Payments by verifying your identity, etc?

There is something that has not been completed on your end so once you finish whatever that is —— payments will begin working.

I am having the same issue on my Premium website that has been working perfectly for the past years. Just about one week ago my clients can book a session because it shows unable to receive payment at the moment. What is going on? I have used Square and PayPal payment options without issues until now.

If yes, only Stripe is compatible. Not Square or Paypal,

So then you most likely don’t have a Wix premium plan that accepts payments.

Yes I do. And the problem has been fixed after many attempts with different customer service associates. Some didn’t even bother to answer my request. I chatted with Lucia and she found the problem right away.

I have updated my Wix Premium Light subscription. It is a monthly subscription.
I have chosen Square as my provider.

Wix Payments is a provider. You already have Square as a provider so you don’t need Wix Payments.

If you have the Light Plan, online payments is not included. You need Core plan or higher.

I’m having the same problem, i’m on an elite plan with my payment gateway connected too. It was accepting payments recently but suddenly it stopped for no reason. No recurring Payments activated
