I’m in the process of creating an online store to showcase a collection of designer shirts and want to make sure the website looks visually stunning while also being user-friendly. What are some of the best Wix features or design elements you’ve used to highlight products like designer shirts? Are there any tips on layouts, galleries, or e-commerce functionalities that can help improve customer experience and boost sales?
Focus more on the sales and conversion of the page. This is something I miss in many new sites. They use all kind of make up but don’t focus on SEO, performance and conversions.
Design matters but not more then the conversion. Use the space wisely, add more categories and products, highlight the sales and offers, add lead magnets, etc. If a element is reducing site performance, replace it.
Don’t follow what others are doing, wix studio landing page has lots of cool designs because it is suppose to show it’s powerful features. However, I don’t find the use of a horizontal scroll in a E-Commerce site, that will just decrease the performance. Just use a repeater with basic scroll animation and make it look decent while keeping the performance intact.
So yeah, focus the design on sales, SEO, user experience, and sales rather then just the visual candy.
