I think there is a bug, we cannot create the members from the Velo ‘wix-members-backend’.
Indeed it was working until last Wednesday and hopefully they will fix it ASAP.
We have an open ticket but no response yet from Support.
I think it is fixed now.

I am also getting the same error when using authentication.register() on client side. It will work the first couple of times but then it throws this error.
I’m having the same issue, it seems nothing has yet been done about this.
Still the error persists. No support available to fix this bug which is inside the authentication.register() function standard Wix code. authentication .

This will always happen, since it seems to be some kind of a protection-function (not a very good one).
