Hello,

I had the same outage but it seems to be working now.

No one in support knew there was a problem and you cannot speak with the VELO Support so I had just wait.

I hope your site is working now as well.

Sorry not much help as we still don’t know the root cause.

Hi everyone,

We are aware of the issue that occurred and affected some Wix sites with code. If your site was affected, please refresh your editor and republish your site.

For any additional issues, please contact our customer care.

Thanks!

I spent almost 2 hours today on WIX Support being told that it must be a problem with my code.

I have been reviewing the WIX Service page and no one had the respect to put a message on there.

If someone in the WIX Team knew about it then it should have been highlighted on either this forum or on the Service page.

My ticket has been escalated to the VELO 3rd Line support team who normally take 24 to 72 hours to respond.

Glad it is working but would be great to hear what the Root Cause was so users can be ready when it happens again.

Hi all

We have a Known Issues article available here to follow.

The root cause was an internal system issue, which we are hoping has been resolved already.

Thanks

Hi everyone,

Yes exactly, I’m facing the same issue since this morning. I cleared the cache and reconnected the dataset in the editor. If anyone else facing this issue try Editor refresh → republish → clear browser cache → check DevTools console. Hope so it will be resolved asap.

Thank you all.

Shame WIX VELO 3rd Line staff and the Senior Management don’t have a Policy or Procedure to update their main WIX Status Page.

This is still showing incorrect information that there has been no issues reported today but if someone has produced a Known Issue page then there is an issue and the WIX Performance should not be 100% today.

To help clarify the difference between updating the Status Page and creating a Known Issue:

The Status Page is used when there’s a platform-wide issue that impacts a significant portion of users. It provides visibility into incidents that may affect overall system performance or availability, and updates are shared there as the situation evolves.

In contrast, a Known Issue is created when a problem is identified that affects a smaller or more specific group of users. While these issues may not appear on the Status Page, they’re still important to us - and the Known Issues section ensures that anyone experiencing them can understand what’s happening and stay informed as the team works on a resolution
