Why not open wix-bookings completely?

I appreciate the wix-bookings API and that Wix decided to open for some customization.
However, there things that I miss:

  1. My-bookings is still fixed. I am not able to customize cancel or reschedule bookings with my clients. Especially, the former is not possible or I simply did not crack the case yet.

  2. The staff database is read-only and even though I removed my staff from the bookingsystem they are still in the Staff database which is annoying. Would it be possible with some clever code to clear this database?

  3. Has anyone worked out how to manage your booking calendar through Google Calendar so that you can not only view but also modify the status, delete, rearrange, etc.

I understand your needs to have access to much more open and flexible APIs, but keep in mind that developing and exposing APIs is not an easy job, specially if the app wasn’t designed to have APIs in the first place, never mention the enormous time they need to put into making them.

I’m sure they appreciate your interest in their app and your need to have more.

Thanks for the reply, I am calm again. It was a moment of frustration and giving up trying to make clients cancel their bookings on a custom basis so this was the epitome of that week. Again, I appreciate the community and team.
