We have a Wix website and we’re trying to implement AC site tracking. Wix prevents the site tracking code from being entered into the footer HTML. That said, I seems like I can use Wix’ Velo code capabilities which allows “messages” to be passed from an HTML element (including the AC site tracking code) to my Wix page.
As I understand it from following this Wix tutorial on including an iframe as well as this Wix example , this requires two elements:
-
creating an HTML element (the iFrame) on my Wix page which holds the ActiveCampaign site tracking code
-
the Wix code which passes over parameters to the HTML element
I understand how to insert code into step 1 above (see code below). However, being a novice programmer, I don’t don’t know what to insert in step 2 to pass site parameters to the HTML element to log the site visit.
Help!

Here’s the AC site tracking script to insert into step 1 (note the account # in the code “vgo(‘setAccount’, ‘123456789’);” has been made generic for security purposes). Also, I inserted an extra space in the URL before “com” due to the limitations of this forum (" https://diffuser-cdn.app-us1..getTime();r=t.createElement(“script”);r.src=o;r.async=true;i=t.getElementsByTagName(“script”)[0];i.parentNode.insertBefore(r,i)})(window,document,“https://diffuser-cdn.app-us1.) com/diffuser/diffuser.js”)
