If I understand correctly, the new features in Wix Code for Wix Stores affect the Product side of Wix Stores.
I don’t see access to the order/customer side for backend processing. Is that so? Is this coming soon, or a later development? I want to know as whether we apply our current alternate solution for creating Wix Store Order Data Collection and posting it for others.

Just a quick question.
I’ve been using the new API beta.
I see it created the below two databases.
Stores: Collections , which has Collection data (Name and MainMedia), but no Product data
Stores: Products , which has Product data, but no Collection data
In Stores, we often assign the same Product to multiple Collections.
A few weeks ago I did a manual export of our Product database. That export produced a column for “Collection” by default. A screen shot of how that looks once uploaded is attached.
Is there a way this Collection data could be included in the Stores: Products API as well? This is particularly relevant, since the import/export feature in Wix Stores app has been temporarily disabled. So, we don’t have another way to access Collection data at this time.

What I really need is to see the collection field on each product. KevBrookNY suggested a workaround but wix is not responding to exporting the collection.
I believe this feature is esencial to every job with the store.

Sorry for the delay.
Yeah it’s correct that for now we are not showing the ‘collection’ as a property of the product - i hope that real soon we will have it.
What you can do for now is if you have the products shown for example on a repeater and you want to add element to filter according to collection you can do it with the collectionID (available in the Collection Collection):
$w(“#dataset1”).setFilter(wixData.filter().hasSome(“collections.id”, [“913dadc7-06b1-c3f7-9faa-3cad81f28dc5”]))
