Wix doesnt work on 2560 x 1440 Resolution?

Hi All,
I created a new website on my laptop.
The laptop has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and the website looks as I want it.
Then I arrived in work one day and viewed my website on a 2048 x 1280 screen
The website looked hideous. Really zoomed out and all the strips & slideshows were cropped out of recognition. I thought maybe it was just the website so I went into the editor on my desktop. The editor on the larger resolution is also zoomed out and out of sync. If I zoom my chrome to 150% it works and looks exactly like a 1920 x 1080 display. Also if I set my desktop resolution to the 1920 x 1080 it looks ok but as soon as I change to my recommended 2560 x 1440 it reverts back to looking bad.
Surley if both displays are 16:9 aspect ratio then it would base the site zoom on the aspect ratio? Is there anything I can do that once I save something and publish on my laptop that no matter what device it is viewd on that the outside limits are set by that editor? My desktop editor basically stretches the full width items 50% more for no reason.
See images attached of the problem.
Laptop Version below:
note gridlines and how well proportioned it is

Desktop Version:
Zoomed out but on the exact same aspect ratio. Why doesnt it fill the screen

Thanks for the help.
