I have 2 questions about file share.

1.Is it possible to make individual folders or files restricted, ie: by member roles or plans. Currently I can only see overall page permissions available for the app page.

If not, could it be added #featurerequest

Option1 , load separate instances of the app (empty) and add the app with only specific files to required pages that have individual member access/roles?

Option 2. (Preffered)
Make .gpx files able to be uploaded in forum.
This way all access can be controlled by page settings.

Option 3. Make products in store able to be sold for free, can then add as a digital download and control product page privileges.

Option 4. Make uploaded docs shared URL’s reflect the name of file on download.
Currently the location URL is converted to a name and usrfiles. com address

  1. I see now that .gpx files can be uploaded/downloaded (Thankyou) :slight_smile:
    It works fine from Desktop, however when downloading on mobile, it adds a .txt to the end of the file name (after .gpx) so a file may look like name.gpx.txt instead of name.gpx

Although not a major problem for users that know how to handle the file, for those that wish to open directly to a navigation app or map, it can be problematic.

These additions would be great, and reduce sending customers/members to 3rd party apps/storage solutions.

Thanks @annahelise I think the limitation is view/download files.
I can only select public or members, I’d like to be able to select individual members or roles.

I haven’t played with groups, maybe that would work?
