I have a client that set up her Wix Payments Account as an Individual instead of a Business. She’s already started accepting payments but has been having issues getting her bank account verified. We already know now that it’s because she set her account as an Individual instead of Business. The question that I need to be answered is:
If we delete her payments account and start over, will she lose all of the payments already processed?
I’ve already reached out to expertpartnerships@wix.com asking for help - the first response I got, I was told that Wix could switch her account to a Business Account (See screenshot ). When I replied that I would like to proceed, another support agent told me it wasn’t possible.
I need a solid answer and resolution for this client ASAP. If anybody can help, I would greatly appreciate it!
