So apparently wix payments instead of alerting my client that more actions needed to be taking. Basically just showing their license yet saying active decided to refund all of the event sales! This is total BS and the wix payment group has totally been ignoring me and my clients! This is an unacceptable policy and the worst possible scenario! How anyone could refund that much WITHOUT alerting the client. Specially for event sales KNOWING that after the event is over there’s no way to recover that money.
If anything the most that should of happened is that a hold was placed on the account being withdrawn until the account was verified. No email no phone call just decided to issue all the event sales back!!!
This doesn’t sound right - have you reached out to support ? Do you have any ticket numbers?
There is no support tickets for the payments. You just enter a call back.
I’ve also contacted support over a similar issue. I got the alert pop up saying if I didn’t pass the review process that my customers would be refunded.
They didn’t issue their notice till after the event when no one was watching. You would think the money would go into a hold status rather than being refunded. That’s a lose lose situation!!!

Did the exact same thing to us today for NO reason. NOT a single issue ever and all of a sudden boom holding our funds.
