WIX support, big thumbs up!

I had an issue with members/events area, lodged a ticket, and after a few emails back and forward without a resolution, the tech team called me.

They spent an hour on the phone, remotely logged into my pc and together we replicated the issue, after a short delay, the senior techs had an answer and all was sorted.

All platforms have issues, but this kind of service is premium and why I’ve been with Wix for around a decade.

As usual, it was a simple problem, easily overlooked, misunderstood.

Here’s a tip that might be handy for those that use the members area with wix events and have members with a purchased plan.

When you allocate a discount to an event for plan holders, you can only use an annual plan or plan that expires for the discount to apply. ie: amongst my plans, I have one that is set to ‘when cancelled’…this does not work. So I simply cancelled the memberships in that plan and brought the members across into a plan that expires on a set date.

Also as a #featurerequest we asked if an option for dollar discount could be added beside the percentage discount, similar to the options in coupons.

I thought I’d take the time to say thanks and well done, having members area working with events is something I asked for some time ago and it’s brilliant. Its reduced the work I was doing and reduces the pages I had for different level members/plans.

Wow your lucky you got good support from Wix. I lodged a ticket and they didnt respond. DM’d them on Instagram and they said the email address didnt match my account email address, when actually it did. After a long conversation with the Wix Instagram team… im still waiting for a reply to my ticket… they says its their fault :frowning:

Since Covid I know support has been a little slower than usual. Have you tried the ‘request a callback’ feature?

The best way to get help with technically issues is through your partner dashboard. There you’ll be able to request a callback or open a ticket.
