I’m having trouble with
WIX Studio breakpoints and general responsiveness.

What I’m trying to do
I have finished designing a page at 1280px, I have set elements to scale proportionally, I then move to a 1920px to edit that, and there is misalignment; grouped elements set to align centre, somehow you find some aligned left or right. Spacing is broken, text is either too big or too small, all this despite setting the text max and min sizes. The menu is the worst hit. On a 1920 breakpoint, the font is huge, you reduce it to a good size and go back to the 1280 breakpoint to check, and it’s again too small.
Okay, let’s say I figure things out and everything looks good on 1920, 1280 and 360 (i think, the phone breakpoint), the moment you go to a 1000px or a 480px, things are messed up again. I had a website looking good at 1280, but when I had a look at it on a tablet, the menu was not looking good, and stuff had misaligned, and it was bad. I just hoped the client hadn’t seen it.
The responsiveness is all over the place.
Issue two is with repeaters; you click on a text to edit, and let’s say you want to copy some text to another tab on your browser, you move the cursor, and the text element moves with your motion. You come back, and the text element is outside the repeater. You have to click on undo to continue working.
A client of mine was editing her services, and the text box kept disappearing, and she was fed up. Told me to do it for her. I didn’t want to explain the issue and just told her to use the undo button next time.
What I’ve tried so far
On all websites, I have been moving to all breakpoints back and forth, making sure they all look right before publishing. Which really doesn’t look good compared to the competition. It should be a joy to create websites with the WIX Studio, just like it is with the Editor, but as it is now, it is a chore! I sometimes dread when a client has a website with many pages.
With regards to repeaters, I am patient with it, take my time to click outside the text box before moving my cursor, and if it drags the text box or image, I undo and proceed!
Extra context
Now, the WIX Editor has existed since 2012 (I think), if I am not mistaken and has taken years to get to where it is. Please keep up the good work and make the WIX Studio fluid and easy to use. It’s not that I don’t want to work hard for my client’s money, I just want to enjoy designing…and if the tool is good, I believe all partners have fun designing.
Reduce the breakpoints, let’s just have three, and automate the responsiveness to the other breakpoints, and just make it fluid on all breakpoints.
I am sure WIX is already working on all of this. I am grateful for it, and I look forward to WIX Studio killing the competition in empowering its creators to build amazing websites and apps by providing the perfect tool.
