Wix Suspended My Health Project – No Access to Dashboard or Login

Question:
Why was my entire Wix account suspended without notice? I cannot access my website, dashboard, or even log in to the support center. I need urgent help recovering access to my site, account, and professional emails.

Product:
Wix Editor / Domain & Account Management (includes email access)

What are you trying to achieve:
I created and published a professional website using the Wix Editor to provide free and scientifically validated content on mental health and neurodiversity. The project is the result of over 20 years of work as a psychiatrist and professor, and was just shared with patients, families, and professional contacts.

Now I am trying to regain:

  • Access to my Wix account
  • Access to the domain dashboard
  • Access to my professional emails
  • Information on why this happened and how to prevent it from recurring

This is urgent because the website was already being used by emotionally vulnerable people — especially neurodivergent patients who may be deeply impacted — and I am currently locked out of everything.

What have you already tried:

  • Attempted login from different browsers and devices
  • Cleared cache and cookies
  • Attempted to access the support page (https://support.wix.com) – received 401 Unauthorized
  • Posted on social media
    Nothing has worked so far.

Additional information:
The error I receive when trying to log in is: 401 Unauthorized – You must be logged in to continue, but logging in results in the same message.

My site contains no copyrighted or inappropriate material – all content is original and authored by me. I am a medical doctor and university professor. The content is educational, ethical, and aligned with public health principles.

I received no warning or explanation for the suspension.
I would be grateful for immediate assistance from a moderator or admin.
This is more than a technical issue — it is already causing harm to the people this project was created to help.

Thank you.

Update:

Thank you to those who read and engaged. I just received a response from Wix Support informing me that my entire account was restricted and deactivated due to an internal risk review. All payments were refunded, and I now need to submit ID and partial credit card details to request a review and possible reactivation.

The message stated that this was done for “payment protection” — but I received no prior warning, no login alert, no notification — just complete account lockout, including emails and support access. It’s important to highlight that I had been working continuously on the site since Friday, and even shared it with patients and colleagues yesterday (Saturday).

This morning (Sunday), everything was suspended without explanation.

I now face the very real risk of losing all the content I spent the last 3 days building, with no clear assurance that it will be restored. As a medical professional providing free, evidence-based mental health content, this is not only extremely frustrating — it’s deeply concerning.

If this kind of automatic suspension can happen with no notice, how can anyone safely build and launch projects with real social responsibility and urgency?

I truly hope Wix reconsiders how such cases are handled — especially when the account activity is legitimate, transparent, and linked to a public health initiative.
