Domain completely shutdown due to administration error!

  • I’m having trouble with
    I had purchased a domain from wix which apparently provider for this is tucows.
  • I had Tucows put a client hold on my domain account which has ultimately shutdown my website for a week, after actually having the website live for 2 weeks with no issues. causing much reputational loss.
  • there is no SOP for this process.
  • There is no workflow item from wix on communications of these issues!
  • I was not even aware of this issue as there was no emails from tucows or wix to tell me that my site was offline, I found out from a client.
  • I had Wix frontline support give me incorrect information about the names actually being the cause of the site being shutdown. I had been stepped through two fixes to fix CNames which turns out may have been incorrect.
    • Issue frontline can do noting other than read off a script of fixes.
  • The escalation process is incomplete, there is no managers on the floor to talk to, there is no update in the ticket from the operator that ticket is high priority. there seems to be front end communication but no REAL time status updates. other open or resolved. so your workflows do not work!
  • The information provided on two occasions were not hitting the mark or the real problem and cause 4 days of delays.
