Wix Verification Email Issues

Unfortunately, Wix enables a verifcation for new users who sign up on your website. They make them complete a captcha and email verification. However, the form is not editable and on mobile, it doesn’t even fit the screen. Any idea how to fix this?

Also, as you can see it says ‘contact with the same email already exists’ even though it does not exist. Any idea how to fix all of these errors or just completely disable it?

You are correct with the article you found in that that the feature is automatic and should only occur in rare instances, usually when either the email might be suspicious; usually I’ve seen it when the owner of the site tries to log in with a similar email or the same email.

I tried following the steps within the article but the 6-digit code verification does not happen on my end. I did get a similar popup letting me know the email needs to be verified on mobile but I can scroll the popup on my end.

hi, you need to try it on mobile. Look at my picture, it does not work and does not fit within the view.

see, the form is not responsive. you can no longer see the option to close. This has further implications as when the code message appears you cannot see the text.

Hi everyone - here is an update. I have managed to figure out that for pricing plans on Editor X, if you click login or sign in on mobile the scaling doesn’t work properly. You can see this by checking in the chrome inspect tool. Any idea how to fix this? Here is an example.

Then if you compare it to the login bar login which works.

Thanks for the additional screenshots. I see you have a ticket with customer support. I’ve pinged the team to check but is that happening on the actual device? With some of the apps, they might not respond with the resizer.
