Word-wrap for placeholder text of input element

Is it possible to word-wrap placeholder text, so the whole text is visible when a page is loaded? Here is what happens to my placeholder text for input elements:

Any clues on how I can make my “whole” placeholder text make visible without increasing the size of the input box or shortening the placeholder text?

No answer or way to do this. The only workaround is to use TextBox instead of input element.
