Hello, we have made our website www.impactrapp. com which fits really beautifully to larger screens but gets cut off on the sides when viewing on smaller screens.
A possible solution is to use dev mode to create either
A) A default zoom to 80% for all screen sizes OR
B) A default zoom to 80% for small screen sizes
Does anyone know how to do this in Wix Dev Mode?
Thank you so much for your help!
Hi Johannah,
I see that you bumped multiple old posts to raise this issue. Per our Community Guidelines , we ask that you always create a new post with your issue, as you have done here. I have closed those old posts. Thank you in advance for adhering to our community guidelines next time.
Hi,
I wanted to contact other related posters in case one of those users had a solution?
As you can see, there are many people with the exact same issue.
I don´t think that is very nice if you block my touchpoint to others in this forum who may be able to help me?
With your overview - are you aware of a solution to our common problem on this forum? That would be most helpful.
@johannah Based on those old threads it seems as though it’s not possible, and you’d need to create a feature request here .
But perhaps someone from the community knows a way to do this and will respond in the next few days. Good luck!
You might want to consider building your site with Editor X by Wix , which allows the web site designer to build a site designed to perfection.
If you look in the editor there are ‘guide lines’, those lines are there for a reason.
When going outside these line the editor gives a warning that those elements won’t be visible on all devices.
Keeping between these lines will be better for smaller devices.
Kind regards,
Kristof.
Hi Kristof,
If we follow the Guidelines, then on normal/larger screens there is a too much empty space on the sides.
Does it solve the problem I have posted?
kind of, but not the way you’re describing tho v:
