There used to be a neat way to handle the same calendar for different members of staff, but now Bookings will only let you attach this calendar to one member of staff.
For instance. I help run a community centre. There are different evening daytime and evening hire rates. I’d attach the bookings calendar to a ‘daytime’ staff who worked daytime hours on daytime services (for instance a kids party). I’d attach the same bookings calendar to an evening staff after 6pm and attach more expensive evening services to this (party hire that permits alcohol for instance). The benefits of having these in one calendar is that I could manually add a booking that crossed day and evening and know I wouldn’t suffer an issue of double booking.
Adding the same email to another staff member can no longer be done and produces an error message ‘You can only have one email linked to each staff member. Please enter a different email address.’
I just wondered why and if the example above illustrates why it was worthwhile?
