In order to provide the most value to my clients I need full access to each client account. My clients do not want to deal with billing, domain edits, credit card changes etc. This is why I keep myself as the owner. However, being the owner, I am the only one that has access to the credit card transactions. The “Admin” role (and probably the back office role) should have access to view those transactions as well as business email.
This has been feedback by the partners before. Just so you know - Wix is building something just like that for us.
AGREED! This is a HUGE problem and the fact the Wix Parnters got launched with this oversight is a red flag in addition to this remaining unresolved.
Anyone handling site development and design needs super admin access without forcing us to take over “subscription payment” responsibilities which would fall directly on my clients. As soon as I had my client take over “ownership” so they could pay and I could continue to develop their site with the premium Wix features, it booted my out of all the areas I need to set-up. I manage up to 10 sites are a time and was planning on moving most of my clients to Wix, but I can say now that is not going to happen. When my clients tried to transfer back access to me, it asked me to enter my card info into their site accounts which is a huge no-no for development, cannot have any of our personal payment info remotely connected to clients assets.
Just wasted almost an hour sorting this mess out on the phone with Wix support who told me they have no one responsible for Partners support and to post here on the forum.
I was just on the phone with support and this is not supported yet. This was posted a year ago. I really need for my client to manage the payment of the premium site - not me as the developer/designer.
