Yesterday morning, after working on my site for an hour or so with no issues, I noticed that the code on the page I was working in had been erased and replaced with the boilerplate code that you see in a new blank page. To my surprise, I noted this was true on all pages of my site and the same thing was true of all of my backend files also.
I’ve put months of work into this site and have a client breathing down my neck to complete it, but Wix Support have essentially given me no feedback in 24 hours, beyond that they agree there’s no code on my site any more and escalated it.
Has anyone out there ever experienced anything like this? Do you have any advice as to how to get it prioritized?
Yes there was a major issue with Velo yesterday that affected site code. It is now reported as resolved, but if you’re still facing the issue, it is worth reaching out to Wix Support.
Is there a way to get notifications on problems like this, given that support haven’t got back to me? Last time I looked at this page yesterday, they hadn’t even recognised the problem. For now I’m adding a VisualPing to the page but it seems like it should be possible to get notifications somehow.
All of my code has disappeared from a Lightbox over the last two weeks. Have only noticed today. Upon restoring my site to a previous version on a date that I know the code was there, nothing appears. This is so frustrating! How did you resolved your issue? How do I contact Wix for support on this? Thank you.
