Are we paying more to beta test features that are going to be added into the Wix editor?
Ive been growing frustrated with the lack of features that are in Wix that aren’t in Editor X. After seeing sections are now being added into the Wix editor it’s becoming more apparent that the Wix editor is becoming Editor X but we aren’t being told what the plans are and we’re paying more to to use Editor X.
What are the plans for Wix/Editor X? Why should we continue to use Editor X?

Personally, I don’t think the responsive features Editor X has will make it to Classic. Classic is still missing tablet mode all the resizing features, element sizing options (like setting a button to fill to the size of the container), etc. There is still a good reason to use Editor X however I wish they just made a complete duplicate of Classic and added these features or just added it to the classic builder and kept it all in one tool.
I think the separate development tracks are causing problems and eventually no matter how much the classic builder has, it will become obsolete. Classic is just simply not responsive. The fact we cant zoom in or change browser size without it switching to tablet or mobile immediately puts all Wix sites under Squarespace, Shopify, and WordPress sites. Responsiveness is expected now so I don’t really like building on Classic anymore even though we are missing a bunch of features from it.
Right, I’ve learned editor x and I love it I just hate that we still don’t have some of features from the classic editor. I assumed that editor x would have all of the features and more, but was wrong and a lot of these features are still not here. And I get frustrated when I see new features I was waiting for pop up for the classic editor and not editor x.
