Currently boards are private, so sharing is not supported.

So trying to understand how this works. Currently I am a contributor to 2 clients sites. The old one which has a lot of photos I want to pull over to the new one. If I copy or move photos to the board from the old site, can I drag or move them to the new site. If I do this other contributors will not see but presume they could do the same thing?
Also worries with GDPR of sharing media file to other clients sites? Can you confirm I am understanding this correctly?
As this is in beta assume my clients would not be able to make the most of this feature?

With this feature, you can set if you want the board to be accessible in all sites or just a specific site.
If you’re asking whether contributors can create boards and share those boards with other sites, that’s a great question (and this might be where your GDPR concerns are). Perhaps @yaaraa can weigh in.

Boards are private (i.e. not shared with other users) so keep in mind that only you can access the boards you have created.
Your question about using media from one site in a different site - is bigger than boards as generally site contributors has full access to the site files and can import them and use them in other sites. You can see it under ‘Wix’ tab when you upload media to your media manager.
I really like this feature so far. The only thing that is kind of bothering me and most likely won’t bother anyone else is the fact that after selecting a picture it defaults back to the main page viewing all boards. This was only a little irritating because I was testing out different pictures to see which one I liked best and I had to go back and re click the board every time. I wish it would default back to where I left off.
Like a few others mentioned earlier in this post, I do not have that option in my media manager screen…?
Found my answer and got the beta features to show up now.
VERY confused…How is this different than creating folders??
