This feature release includes two updates:

Ability to edit collection fields without having to publish the site

A single field structure for both Sandbox and Live collections
Update fields and settings in a collection without having to publish the site every time you want changes to go live. This means you can make content changes live even if you’re not ready to publish design changes.
With this feature you:

Will no longer need to publish a site after creating a collection or after adding, deleting or editing collection fields

Can create ‘Named Views’ in the Editor as well in the Dashboard, and they will show up the same everywhere.
If you’re using the Sandbox collection, the structure of the fields is now the same in both your Sandbox and Live collections. The content is still different in each collection so you’ll have to manually sync content in between the collections.
How to try the new feature:

Open the Editor (classic or Editor X).

Publish your site so this update will be automatically applied to your site.
