One of the selling points to (some of ) my clients is that they can edit the site after I hand it off. Do I need to make this decision before creating the site and make it in regular Wix if this is required for them?
Edit, meaning: change type and switch out images and maybe add images, Not design/layout changes.
ps. sorry this is basic, I’m trying to decide whether to go all in
Don’t work with clients but you can try bringing up to them a retainer fee if you need to go back and correct any issues the cause and empower them to learn the platform in the academy .
I’ve seen some designers use dynamic pages or datasets so that the client only needs to update via a spreadsheet instead of accessing the site. It’s useful for example if they have multiple projects and would need a “new page” but with a similar layout to other pages.
Adding as a caveat that the permissions are if you’re the owner/admin of the site. If the client ends up with ownership, they can technically do what they want with no limits.
