Hi everyone. My new Wix site looks fine everywhere except on iPad, largely because it uses Desktop view, not re-sized to fit the screen, and I lose a lot of text. I’m aware of the narrow page guidelines Wix suggest you stay within to avoid things like this happening. I didn‘t conform to this and I could make some adjustments to my site to meet these guidelines, however - in my opinion - it makes my desktop site look very narrow, old-fashioned and a bit rubbish. It seems a shame to edit my website just to suit iPad. So - back to original question - can I add any code to my site to force a mobile view in iPad? Or do anything using code to improve the iPad view without drastically altering the layout of my site as it stands?! Thanks in advance.
You can’t write your site so it acts differently for a specific branded device. You can only write code that is applied when viewing your website on either desktop, tablet or mobile only.
