I just got hit with this and am I really upset. I don’t have much activity but Wix Payments wants a copy of my drivers license, a copy of a utility bill or other proof of address, and a copy of a bank statement. This is how identities get stolen!!! How often have we heard about data breaches. Who is going to have access to this information? Foreign regulators? Very Very unacceptable!! I’m sure Wix is being compliant with someone’s requlations and is in a hard spot.
Does anyone know if a payments option that can be used in wix that isn’t so intrusive?
