Can you make your question more clear for my understanding please?
I want to create a database featuring many musicians. On the dynamic page, each musician will have their own social media links using Wix’s social media functionality. How can I design my dynamic page and my database in such a way that allows each musician’s social media URLs to be customized for each musician?
it is simple
I have two solutions for you.
Solution 1
When musicians are registering for an account, let them include a link to their social media pages, you can create a drop down menu for the type of the social media platforms you would want allow on your website, eg: Facebook, twitter and etc, and then a user inputs where they will provide their social media pages links,… But best option is, allow your drop down to allow more than one selection incase people want to connect more than one socail media…
Solution 2
Add a button in your ID dynamic page, call the button (Update Profile or Connect Social Media) Whatever way you like it to be, Then add another dynamic page and call it Username / Full name or whatever, but dont add ID field to it since you already have an ID dynamic page that users are redirected to when they log in, but adding the ID field wont cause no harm. In the aditional page, add user inputs and design them, and allow the link to be added from their own sever, by changing the page authorisation into only admin can open it and also allow the database permition into member author can update their data, then you can provide as enough inputs as you want for the social media links from the additional page we have talked about… make them not required, so that no one will be forced to provide every social media by force. When they upload, their own database will be updated .
Finally
now add social media logos into your website and connect them tot the database inputs according to how you design your page/… social media icons will be connected to social media links of only the person who provide them according to which account/profile is viewed at a time…
Pleasse feel free to ask more questions if you need my help

I can’t find were to connect the social media links to the database is it not longer a possibility?
Use a URL field for each of the member’s social links. I.e. one for twitter, one for fb, one for insta, soundcloud, etc.
Hi - I was able to do (I created one for Instagram | Fb | Twitter | Linkedin). I used the show/hide code to hide any icons that the user do not have an account under. However, if someone has Linkedin only for example, the icon shows up on their page in it’s fixed position (3 icon spaces in). How can I make the social media icons display in the left side but without overlapping?
Add a social media image or text and link it to a URL in your database, each dynamic page will have a unique link…
Say you want to link every dynamic page to a different Facebook page…
Copy a social media logo of your choice from google and then add the image to the dynamic page, then link that image to your dataset. call your title URL and value URL
Then for each page, add the url links of your choice…
Hope this helps
Hi Tommie - Thanks for your response. I was able to figure this part out. I ran into a challenge with the display/positioning of the icons. I am displaying four different icons (FB, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter). If a user has only one of two of these icons and it happens to be placed on the far right, the icons are displayed in their fixed position which shows as if someone indented the icon by mistake. See below a screenshot of how it looks like. Curious if you or anyone on the forum has a solution for this? Thanks
Hay, Just seen this notification so bear my time, OK so from what I can understand is misplacement in your (dynamic template page)…
I hope this is a fix for you!
Steps to take into account…
Use individual image box’s on your dynamic template for all social media logos, make sure each box is named e.g. facebook image box will be named facebook image in your properties panel MAKE sure each title in your dataset #contentmanager is labelled the same as the image boxes on your dynamic template.
k, to show all social media images in one line… Make sure all image boxes on your dynamic pages are positioned where you want them. Then create another Image box on your dynamic page and place it where you would want the one social media to show if they have only one ( you can place it on top of another box because if that one is showing, the rest wouldn’t be
Dynamic data will show blank id the data set is blank
A quick run down…
Use x4 separate dynamic picture box’s on your dynamic page for each social media Logo, making sure they’re all placed where you want them to show.
Then ADD a box 5 in the middle of them so it is overlapping.
When a member has one the only the one will show in the middle. Use box 5 for when a member has one social image…
LOL, I found your reply post while hunting a solid 19 hrs for a solution to excluding specific products from shipping to a region…
I hope this helps and sorry for my write up as I;m lagging, wldqwchewiu
Why such a ridiculous work around. For dynamic pages you should be able to drop a social bar on a repeater card, then create a corresponding social bar in the database in which you can filter the social icons based on what social platforms you want to show (one, some, or all) for each individual/card in the collection. I can’t believe this doesn’t work out of the box. I just had a need for this and discovered oversight.
