Dynamic index not loading

Hello. I am running into an intermittent error. I created a dynamic index to display data from a predefined dataset. I have done this for several website created using WIX Code. On some sites the dynamic index works perfectly on the live published site, for others I get the table and a message “Loading …” that never updates. There are less than 10 entries in the datasets.

What could the issue be? I have scoured the forums and the WIX Code Help/Resources but can not find a reason or a solution.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hey,
I’m not sure that fully understand what is the issue. Can you please send us the site URL and a screenshot of the issue?

Thanks,
Tal.

Hey Tal!

Hello. I an still waiting a response to the issue mentioned above. This is impacting my ability to complete the project for my client. Any assistance will be helpful and appreciated. Thank you.

Possible error 1- Permission in the database (anyone, admin, member login)… Try anyone for test

Possible error 2 -in your dataset linked this table, change for “read only”

Possible erro 3 - publish the page (again)

Possible error 4 - check your DATASET in this page, …
is missing linking table to database

Gary, please let us know if you’ve tried what Leandro suggested.
Thanks

Yes, it did. I managed to figure it out after going through the site again and rechecking the settings, before Leandro’s response. I have to say, I am extremely disappointed with the level of response I received. Three weeks is not acceptable to wait for a response to an issue (especially during a beta period). The fact that I had to resolve the issue by myself with no contact or coaching from customer service after submitting a ticket and posting in the forum is distressing. Moving forward, I hope that there are better follow up procedures put in place to prevent the ball being dropped.

First of all, I’m happy that you’ve resolved this. I agree that we have dropped the ball, and we are now working to avoid this from happening again.
Since WixCode is a very different product than any of our other products, the whole support infrastructure for it requires a new way of working. We’re aware that it is not yet anywhere near where we want it to be.
Thank you for your feedback, and we apologise.
