Gallery Pro Cannot Show Custom Fields

Hi Folks

I need images and then below the images a few values from a content manager / collection, see pic.

But seems I can’t add custom fields to Gallery Pro, so am using a repeater. All good.

Prob is, how how I add a click event to the image so it blows up nice and big.

Hey @ublizi , could you please clarify what you mean by “image blows up nice and big”? Do you want the image to cover the entire screen like a light-box or you just want the image to scale a bit when it is clicked?

Thanks Eve, looking for a large image so that folk can really see the paint detail. Could be the entire screen, but would be preferable if image size is something I could set. If not, then whole screen rather than just scaling a bit.

Did you try pro Gallery with image expanding on click?
and as for custom fields I can see on the example you can use description and heading customization

Yes Pro Gallery will work but I need to show more custom fields, at least 4 maybe 5. Is this possible?

in pro gallery you can use the description and title only, but you can try using bullet points as for example alternatively, I can offer you vote for collapsible text in Pro Gallery: https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-pro-gallery-request-adding-collapsible-text-to-your-gallery

Think a repeater might better suit my use case. Want to link the data associated with each image to a collection. There’s no limit on custom fields / can then edit this data in backend and it immediately updates the front end.

Am trying to figure how to add a click event to the repeater image so that it opens a much larger image of itself.

How is this achievable?

Yes have tried this, not really satisfactory.

Will the pro gallery ever have ability to add multiple custom values to each image?
