How to fix thumbnail navigation bug in pro gallery

What are you trying to achieve:
I need the main display to adjust the file size to show the full content without cropping (as in the first and third situations) and for the thumbnail scrolling to work properly and stay aligned (as in the second situation). Has anyone encountered this issue before or knows what I can do to fix it?
What have you already tried:
I’ve tried 3 different scenario which are as follows:
1) when configured with a 'fixed’ ratio and ‘fit’ thumbnail resize
result: the files are displayed correctly regardless of the video/image’s dimensions (which is ideal, as the files have varying dimensions). However, when navigating through the thumbnails and clicking on the last image, it scrolls incorrectly, leaving blank spaces (see attached photo).
2) when configured with a 'manual’ ratio and ‘crop’ thumbnail resize
result: Images/videos with dimensions very different from the gallery size are cropped instead of maintaining a full-view resize for the main display. I understand that ‘crop’ does this, but it doesn’t make sense in this context. On the other hand, the thumbnail scrolling bug doesn’t occur in this setup.
3) when configured with a 'manual’ ratio and ‘fit’ thumbnail resize
result: the full-content viewing issue is resolved, but the thumbnail scrolling bug reappears, just like in the first case.
-no need for screenshots/same as first scenario-
Additional information:
If anyone know how to fix this issue would be awesome already, but if you also know how to centralize the thumbnails instead the default align to left would be gold!
