Gap below header won't go away

I’m having a problem where there’s a gap between the header and the section below, which gets larger when the viewport gets narrower. I’ve tried setting the header to Hide overflowing content, adjusting all elements to match the header’s height, even deleting all contents inside just to check if any of it was causing the problem, but the gap remains no matter what. The only thing that works is deleting the whole header itself, which is obviously not a great solution…
So now I’m stumped. Does anyone have an idea of what might be causing this issue?

For the record, the section below has no content yet. I do have a section behind the whole thing, which holds a background picture, but deleting that doesn’t change anything either.

Any help is much appreciated!

I’m actually having the same issue. I just asked if anyone has found a fix or has an explanation for the root cause. Here is the thread I posted in… there was a couple work arounds. Maybe they will work for you : https://www.editorxcommunity.com/forum/general-discussions/white-space-between-header-and-first-section

please share the link to the site with issue, along with the video example, or please report this situation to Editor X Customer Care:

Hello! Thank you so so much for this! Detach from Masters worked for me as well!

Hi! I was able to resolve the issue using the tip to select “Detach from Masters” on the header, which was suggested in a thread linked below
