Horrible Bug: Wix Apps randomly added to site when opening editor

A few times now I’ve experienced randomly, when opening a site editor, that Wix Apps like Members Area etc. get added.

Completely ruins Header design and workflow – I can’t just uninstall, cause my design is ruined, so I have to load an earlier version of the site, via site History.

I suspect that this happens when I have more than one site with editor open. Sometimes I need to check stuff, so I open previous site editors to see code etc., but then I still have the editor open of the site I’m actually working on, in another tab. I think this is the problem.

Horrible bug. Ruins work flow a lot.

Have you used Wix ADI, or have you chosen some apps while setting up the site?

I don’t know, it’s just a mess, it’s a working site for a year, with users and a custom member base I built, and suddenly (when I opened it to copy code onto another site) it starts installing members app and wix forms and subscriptions site. Super stressful to experience. It worked to just go back in site History, but still, it’s like - w t f Wix it’s a year old site

So I’m pretty sure it happened because I had another website I’m building open in another tab. That’s the bug

Yes this is an issue many Wix users are facing (including me) and has been reported.

Just want to loop round on this one - the team found the cause and shouldn’t happen any longer :slight_smile:
