I am trying to edit my wix website in visual studio code. But this is not proving fruitful as all the HTML, CSS, and Javascript are in the Index.HTML file??

Either this is an example of awfully written code, or they intentionally ‘uglify’ the code so we can’t edit it’s back end without getting a headache.

Please, I just want to edit my website. Thank you.
Wix does not allow you access to the DOM and you can only use Javascript with Wix Corvid.

If you are not using code, then you can look at simply using the Wix Editor.

Also, if you are not using code, then you would be best suited going through Wix Support and reading the Wix Support pages.

If you want to use html/css/js in Wix, then you can look at adding it via a html iframe or through Tracking and Analytics.

If you want to customize your site, enable Dev mode and you can write your own custom Javascript in the code panel .
Even then they try and make it as difficult and complicated as possible especially if one is customizing a login page for a large website
